SUMMARY:Tim Donohoe Art Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:Tim’s art will be on display in the lobby gallery from February 8th until March 16th.  The lobby is open to the public Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-4:00 pm.  Meet Tim at the Artist Reception on February 16th from 6:00-7:00 pm. \nThis show is something of a retrospective. There are some newer and some older pieces here. People often\nask me\, “What kind of art do you do?” I never know quite how to answer. I tend to do a few pieces in one\nvein\, and then switch to something else. I like to explore both realistic and non-objective work. Most recently I\nhave been interested in the role of the artist as a recorder of history. Specifically\, I have been painting old farm\nbuildings in the area\, before they are gone. I am also considering exploring carved wood sculpture. Much of\nmy work is intended to be a social commentary.

SUMMARY:FAC Artist Program- Tim Donohoe Art Reception
DESCRIPTION:I come from a family of creative people- artists\, musicians\, engineers and scientists. I’ve always loved Art and\nMusic and have dedicated my life to these pursuits. After 18 years as a graphic designer\, with 13 of those in\ncorporate advertising\, I realized I wanted to do something different. With an amazing level of support from\nchurch\, friends and family I returned to school\, finished my degree and earned a teaching certificate in both\nArt and Classroom. I went to work for Forest Hills\, worked there for 20 years and retired in 2020. Now I pursue\nmy creative endeavors full time. The summer following my first year of teaching my wife of 28 years passed\naway. After 10 years as a single dad\, one of my students introduced me to her widowed Aunt. Kristin and I\nstarted dating and were married in 2014 and moved to some acreage near Alto\, where I built a studio to\npursue my interests. \nCome see Tim’s Exhibit from February 8 to March 16\, 2023. Monday-Friday 9:00 am-4:00 pm in the FAC Lobby.
