The 62,000 square foot Forest Hills Fine Arts Center offers the ambience, amenities, and technical capabilities more typically associated with a regional performance theater. Only minutes from I-96, more than 600 on-site parking spaces accommodate large-audience events with ease. Heated walkways and inviting, easy-to-navigate entry sequence usher guests to the spacious lobby and adjacent theater, classrooms, and studios. The Center’s custom-designed 1,220 seat theater is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting technology and a unique under-seat heating and air conditioning system to maximize the audience’s comfort and enjoyment. Its 4,500 square foot stage and comprehensive back-of-house facilities are designed and equipped to accommodate full-scale professional productions.

Rich with natural light and scenic views, the Center’s lobby is an awe-inspiring gallery for the display of original artwork and an exciting venue for conferences, banquets, receptions, and more. The adjoining café offers guests a comfortable spot to relax between activities, and enjoy a snack or beverage. Throughout the building, multi purpose meeting and classrooms are equipped with the latest audio-visual technologies and wireless internet connectivity, while the visual arts and dance studios provide creative working environments for students and professionals. The Forest Hills Fine Arts Center is dedicated to the artistic growth and enjoyment of area youth, families, and adults of all ages.

Custom designed with leading-edge technology throughout, it provides a uniquely effective environment for learning opportunities and staged performances in all aspects of the performing and visual arts, including:

  • An annual series of traveling productions by world-class professionals
  • Special concerts, performances, and lectures by featured performing artists and speakers
  • Art exhibits by local artists and an annual student art exhibit
  • A broad spectrum of enrichment classes for youth, adults, and seniors

Owned and operated by Forest Hills Public Schools, the Fine Arts Center was constructed with funds raised through a local bond referendum, and is self sustaining through an endowment fund, sponsorships, class tuitions, performance-generated revenues, and rental fees charged for private use of the facility and its resources. Generous commitments of time and effort by a staff of professionally trained volunteers help to make the amazing things accomplished here possible.

Our rentals are based on amount of time you’ll need at our facility, which areas you’ll need and what type of event you’ll be hosting.

Depending on availability, rentals can typically be accommodated during our normal business hours of Monday-Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Evenings and weekends are sometimes possible if staffing & scheduling allows. Additional fees are charged for custodial, technical director and equipment needs. Renters also need to provide Copy of Liability Insurance before a contract can be finalized.
